Calvary Baptist Church, located at 5640 Old Dixie Hwy., in Grant, is a Southern Baptist congregation dedicated to serving the community and sharing the teachings of Jesus Christ. We offer regular worship services, Bible study groups and several in-house ministries as well as community outreach programs.

Everyone is welcome to come listen and be uplifted by the power of God’s Word and the beauty of heartfelt worship. Our services, led by Lead Pastor Mike Franzone and Associate Pastor Greg Parsley, as well as our Praise Team, are filled with spirit-led praise and song, encouraging messages, and a welcoming fellowship ready to embrace you.

Meet Pastor Mike Franzone

Mike received his education at William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and graduated from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri with a B.A. degree in Biblical Studies and History. He did his graduate work at Luther Rice Seminary in Atlanta, Georgia. Mike is an ordained minister and has pastored several churches. He has also served as a full-time evangelist ministering in 400 churches over the years and overseas.

Mike’s gift is communication. He has led a number of conferences, seminars and retreats, as well has speaking to clubs, colleges and high schools and thousands of students at retreats, ski camps and conferences. He has also been the featured speaker at a number of singles conferences and events. He has ministered as a soloist and guitarist and has hosted a weekly radio show. He also ministers through several You Tube channels and a number of Social Media
sites.

Mikes messages are forceful and Biblical. He preaches with compassion, conviction and with the insight of a true prophet. He has a great burden for the church to experience revival and for the nation to experience another Great Awakening. He believes in the mission and ministry of the local church.

Michael is married to Leasa. They have eight kids and 20 grandchildren. And their crazy Golden retriever, Campbell
