Our WMU (Women’s Missionary Union) Group is a dedicated gathering of women committed to serving God through missions and outreach. Meeting on the second Saturday of every month at 9:30am at the church, the group comes together for prayer, fellowship, and planning mission efforts that impact both the local community and global ministries. The WMU provides a space for women to grow spiritually, support one another, and take an active role in fulfilling the Great Commission.
The group actively supports several mission efforts, including Operation Christmas Child, which provides shoebox gifts to children around the world, and Mission Dignity, which assists retired pastors and their families in financial need. Additionally, the WMU raises awareness and funds for Annie Armstrong and Lottie Moon offerings, which directly support North American and international missionaries. Through these initiatives, members are able to extend their love and faith beyond their local church, helping to spread the gospel to people of all ages and backgrounds.
In addition to missions, the WMU group engages in outreach programs to serve and connect with the local community. One of their significant annual events is the Fall Festival in October, a time of fun and fellowship that welcomes families and individuals from the surrounding area. This event provides a safe and enjoyable environment while also serving as an opportunity to share Christ’s love. Through their ongoing efforts, the WMU at the church continues to be a pillar of faith-driven service, making a meaningful impact both locally and globally.
